  1. Hi Louise doesn't it feel good to finish. I have but have to post it for others to see.

Had a read of your report. Here are a few comments from a non-nursing person.
    * I like the way that your purpose was three-fold it made it very clear and the point was clear.
    * You had an issue with numbers completing the survey was there any way around it. A sample of a students. Not sure how I would do this but some way that would get more completed.
    * Monitoring students - Interested to read how things changed when more monitoring happening.
    * Discussion board - A bit like in our course not always used. I remember last course Paul Left directed me to a site by Jacob Neilsen about how much they are used. Can send it to you if interested?

To finish you have a lot of recommendations - did you order them for priority.
By the way didn't try and do your summartive test too hard for me.
    All the best
    Katie

  2. Hi Louise, I really enjoyed reading your report, you learn something new everyday! The graphs you used were clear and easy to understand. Its a pity you never had as many people completing your survey as you wanted might have made a difference to your final results. I had to really nag at morning meetings and send constant emails to remind staff to get them in. Do you think this would have worked for you?
I liked your reccommendation that greater support should be 'given to students throughout the period of the e-Learning component by a minimum of two lecturers in the discussion board learning tools'. In one course I done the discussion board was really successful with students but the lecturer rarely commented or joined in at all, maybe having two lecturers would lessen the load?

Well done for completing your report, now you can really relax and enjoy the holidays.
All the best with any future studies!

    Lisa
